Storylines

Quick Preview: Desperation Time

Penn State’s ‘tragic’ number to be out of Big Ten Tournament contention is now four, complemented with Rutgers holding the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Washington is holding onto the 11th spot in the conference standings as Rutgers enjoys a favorable home date with Maryland this weekend.

Hotchkiss Moves Up The Record Books

It’ll be a battle of heavy hitters on both sides as left fielder Jackson Hotchkiss finds himself at the seventh spot in the Washington record book for single-season home runs.

Hotchkiss currently has 17 and would need five to tie the record that is currently held by Chad Boudon of 2003.

Anderson Remains One Away From Record

Designated hitter Michael Anderson has hit a home run in all but one Big Ten series this year en route to what could be the breaking of the single-season record at Penn State.

Both Anderson and Ben Heath of 2010 are tied for the record with 19, as the chance looms for the former to break through this weekend.

Head-to-Head History

Penn State is 1-1 against Washington all-time.

Penn State last played Washington on May 21, 2025, winning 5-3 in the Big Ten Tournament.

Penn State has never played a confirmed home game against Washington.

Penn State has never played a series against Washington.
